OUR STORY
Kalko Concrete & Construction was built on more than just concrete work; it was built on legacy. Owner Seki learned the trade working alongside his father from the age of ten. What started as summer job site experience grew into a lifelong passion for craftsmanship, hard work, and doing things the right way. That foundation is what inspired the company’s slogan: Keeping a Legacy.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from BYU and gaining experience with well-known commercial construction companies, Seki launched Kalko Concrete & Construction in 2019. The goal was simple: bring professional-level standards, honest communication, and long-lasting workmanship to homeowners who deserve better than rushed jobs and unreliable contractors.
Today, Kalko Concrete & Construction continues to grow while staying true to the values that started it all — family, integrity, and pride in quality work.
Behind the Name
The name Kalko represents more than a business, it represents family. “Kal” reflects our commitment to keeping a legacy, honoring the craftsmanship, values, and work ethic passed down through generations. “Ko” comes from the Kofe family name, grounding the business in where it all started.

MEET SEKI
Seki is the owner of Kalko Concrete & Construction and has been working in the concrete industry since childhood. Growing up on job sites with his late father, he learned the value of showing up on time, doing honest work, and treating every project like it matters, because it does.
After graduating from BYU with a degree in Construction Management, Seki gained experience working with large commercial construction companies before deciding to build something of his own. In 2019, he launched Kalko Concrete & Construction to continue his father’s legacy while raising the standard for residential concrete work.
Outside of work, Seki’s first priority is his wife and daughter. He also played rugby at BYU and continues to coach BYU men’s rugby today. Family, teamwork, and discipline carry through both his personal life and the way he runs his business.
